The Institute of Veterinary Pathology, Vetsuisse Faculty, is an institution of the University of Zurich (UZH). In addition to research and teaching, it has a strong diagnostic unit, undertaking post mortem, histopathological, immunopathological and cytological examinations of animals and/or tissue specimens. This material is primarily used for teaching and research as well as further education and training.
Your responsibilities
- Contribution to the Institute's post mortem diagnostic service
- Contribution to the Institute's biopsy and cytology diagnostic service
- Contribution to collaborative research projects and undergraduate teaching
Your profile
- EU-recognised veterinary degree
- At least 12 months postgraduate veterinary work (eg. in practice or by working towards a doctoral degree)
- Interest in pathology and in postgraduate training in this discipline
- Optimally scientific publication(s), eg. as part of a completed dissertation (Dr. med. vet., PhD)
- Very good English and German skills (spoken and written)
