The Chair for Law & Finance of Prof. Dr. iur. Kern Alexander is seeking to fill an assistant position starting 1 February 2021 or upon agreement.
Research will include the regulation of financial firms and climate change risks, corporate governance of financial firms in achieving environmental sustainability/climate change objectives and related areas of banking regulation and corporate law. Work will also entail administrative duties at the Chair, contribution (including multi-media) to teaching, exams, and projects such as the Research Network for Sustainable Finance - SUSFIN, and research for publications and scientific projects and possibility of joint authorship on scientific papers and other publications.
Fluency in both English and German (both C2 or above)
Master students / Graduates (MLaw / lic. iur. / MSc of Economics)
Great interest in European and International Economic Law, financial regulation and environmental law and related sustainability issues.
Desirable: affinity to CMS, web design, and multi-media production

The initial contract will be for a six-month period in the first instance with possibility of renewal for one year based upon satisfactory performance.
