Start of employment Immediate start or to be mutually agreedThe group of Prof. Schwank is working on translational genome editing and cell-based therapies. We are seeking an experienced Research Associate (80-100%) to drive the in vivo components of a translational research program developing in vivo CAR T cell therapies based on RNA–lipid nanoparticle technology.
The successful candidate will independently execute and analyze preclinical studies in humanized and syngeneic tumor models, contributing directly to milestone delivery within a translational research program.
Your responsibilities
You will work closely with the Molecular Biology and RNA-Delivery teams to produce milestone-ready, in vivo da-tasets demonstrating in vivo CAR-T generation and antitumor activity in humanized and syngeneic models. The role combines hands-on animal experimentation, sample processing, and immunological analysis. You will be responsible for planning and executing tumor studies in humanized and syngeneic mouse models as well as per-forming follow-up analyses such as flow cytometry, cytokine profiling, and histological readouts.
Your profile
Candidates may come from various educational paths; relevant combinations of education and experience are equally valued. The candidate has at least a

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously within project time-lines.
- Excellent record-keeping and data management skills; able to compile results for internal reports.
- Familiarity with RNA or nanoparticle-based therapeutics is a plus.
- Experience with longitudinal imaging and biodistribution studies is a plus.
- Prior exposure to GLP-like preclinical documentation or biotech environments is a plus.
