Start of employment 01.09.2026 or by agreement (earliest possible start), fixed-term, one year, temporaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised individual to join our team as Scientific Coordinator of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF)-funded MULTICAST consortium.
MULTICAST is an international, interdisciplinary research consortium at the intersection of psychology, psychiatry, linguistics, data science and artificial intelligence. The project aims to improve the prediction of suicidal thoughts and behaviours by combining language, digital behavioural data and advanced computational methods, ultimately contributing to the development of novel approaches to suicide prevention and early intervention. Following the recent extension of the project, MULTICAST is entering an exciting new phase. Alongside the implementation of key research activities, the consortium is focusing on the dissemination of findings, public engagement and science communication, the organisation of scientific events, and the development of new research initiatives and competitive national and international grant applications.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with an internationally renowned research consortium and gain first-hand experience in the strategic development of a successful research programme. Depending on interests and qualifications, the role may also include additional responsibilities in the scientific coordination of Professor Birgit Kleim's research group.

Your responsibilities
- Scientific and organisational coordination of the SNSF-funded MULTICAST consortium
- Planning, organising and coordinating project activities in close collaboration with the project leadership and national and international consortium partners
- Organising meetings, workshops, scientific conferences and other academic events
- Supporting dissemination activities, public engagement initiatives and science communication
- Assisting with reports to funding agencies and coordinating administrative and organisational processes
- Contributing to the development of follow-up projects and the preparation of competitive national and international grant applications
- Depending on the candidate's profile, contributing to additional strategic and scientific coordination activities within Professor Birgit Kleim's research group
Your profile
- Master's degree (or equivalent), ideally in psychology or a related discipline
- Excellent organisational skills and enthusiasm for independently driving complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
- A structured, proactive and self-directed working style
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary and international research environment
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Previous experience in academic research, project management or the coordination of larger research projects is an advantage
