Start of employment 01.02.2027, permanent employmentThe Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich invites applications for a Professorship of Allergy and Asthma Research.
The Professorship is based at the Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma Research in Davos and represents the subject in research and teaching. The professor will be appointed as head of the institute. The latter task also includes integration in Davos, contacts with the authorities, as well as collaboration and networking. She or he will have their main place of residence in Davos.
We are looking for a dynamic, integrative personality with extensive scientific experience in allergy and asthma research. In addition, the successful candidate will have pertinent experience in the management of a research group, the acquisition of competitive third-party funding as well as in student teaching, the supervision of qualification theses and the promotion of young academics.

The successful candidate is expected to strengthen the existing as well as new collaborations within the hospital and with other research institutions.
