Professorship in Gender Economics

The position can be filled at any level (Assistant with Tenure Track, Associate or Full Professor), starting at the earliest in Fall 2025.

The research focus of this position lies in the broad field of Gender Economics. A professorship with this thematic orientation may, for example, come from the fields of labor economics, public economics, behavioral economics, development economics, economics of education, or macroeconomics.

Candidates applying for Assistant Professorship should hold a Ph.D. degree in Economics with specialization in the broad area of Gender Economics. Candidates applying for Associate or Full Professorship should have an excellent research record commensurate with the position and strong teaching skills both at the undergraduate and the graduate levels. The performance evaluation will be undertaken in line with DORA and the Open Science Policy of the University of Zurich.

The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. The language of instruction is either German or English.
