Professorship in Economics
Applications are invited for a position as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor, starting Spring 2027.
The position is open to any field in Economics. The University of Zurich mainly aims at attracting leading international researchers with an outstanding research record and potential who are willing to contribute to its development and to strengthening its reputation as a future-oriented university with excellence in research, promotion of young researchers and innovative research-based teaching.
Candidates applying for Assistant Professorship should hold a Ph.D. degree in Economics and have an excellent record of academic achievements. Candidates applying for Associate or Full Professorship should have an excellent research record and strong teaching skills both at the undergraduate and the graduate levels. The performance evaluation will be undertaken in line with DORA and the Open Science Policy of the University of Zurich.
The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. The language of instruction is either German or English.
