Postdoctoral position in Biostatistics 50 - 100 %

Start of employment as soon as possible

The Nephrological Laboratory at the University of Zurich dissects pathomechanisms of glomerular diesease. For this, we employ cell culture, mice as well as Drosohpila melanogaster as models. Furthermore, we work with patient sera and kidney biopsies in our biobank.

Your responsibilities

  • Analysis of single cell/single nucleus RNA sequencing data
  • Statistical analysis of patient data

Your profile

Successful applicants should have a strong goal of pursuing a research career with a strong background in analyzing data gathered by single cell RNA sequencing. Ideally, the applicant should hold a PhD degree in statistics, applied mathematics, data science or a related field. The applicant has excellent communications skills and can work independently and in a team. The applicant should also have a solid scientific writing experience and excellent written and spoken English skills.
