Start of employment April 1, 2025 (or by agreement)The Malaria Transmission lab at the Institute of Parasitology focuses on basic and translational aspects of malaria transmission. Together with our twin lab at the University of Glasgow, we are studying the biology of malaria transmission both under controlled in vitro conditions and during infection in humans and in animal models. Special interests include understanding formation and tissue sequestration of malaria transmission stages, and how to use this information for diagnosis and treatment.
We offer a stimulating environment in one of the major centers of parasitology research in Switzerland with an outstanding research infrastructure. The University of Zürich and ETH Zürich form a nucleus for research and innovation in the center of Europe.
The salary will be competitive and in accordance with the University's guidelines. The initial contract will be for one year with possible extension.
