Start of employment May or June 2025, temporaryWe are an academic translational research group for phage therapy located at the Balgrist University Hospital, Zurich which is led by the microbiologist/clinician team of Dr. Shawna McCallin, PhD and Dr. Lorenz Leitner, MD within the Department of Neuro-Urology headed by Prof. Thomas M. Kessler. Our research is aimed at investigating the clinical utility of bacteriophage therapy in the context of urinary tract infections & identifying criteria and factors important for effective, sustainable treatment. We are a highly translational group and work in close collaboration with partners in computational biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, data science, and immunology. - Meet the requirements of the MD-PhD Program of the University of Zurich
- Strong interest in uro-infectiology research
- Structured, systematic, and well-organized work ethic

- Fluent in German and proficient in English
- Excellent communication skills and patient-oriented demeanor
