In addition, a habilitation or equivalent academic qualification is expected. As he or she will be appointed as head of the Institute of Neuropathology, experience in the management of an academic neuropathology unit is also expected.
The University of Zurich is a highly attractive institution for cutting edge research with plenty of opportunities for collaborations across its faculties and with its university hospitals. The nearby Swiss Federal Institute of Technology is an additional asset. The successful candidate is expected to strengthen the existing as well as new collaborations within the hospital and with other research institutions.
