Assistant Professorship (non-tenure track) for Sports Medicine Research with a Focus on the Musculoskeletal System
The assistant professorship is limited to six years and is located at Balgrist Orthopedics University Hospital Zurich. The assistant professor represents the subject in research and teaching. The University of Zurich, Balgrist University Hospital and the nearby ETH Zurich offer an outstanding environment for committed qualified young researchers.
The successful applicant will bring an excellent research profile on clinically relevant, sports medicine issues with a focus on the musculoskeletal system and competitive sports. The quality, relevance and content congruence of previous research with the main focus of the University Center for Prevention and Sports Medicine “Musculoskeletal System and Sport” should be in the foreground. Ideally, their research is already internationally recognized and supported by the successful acquisition of competitive third-party funding. Furthermore, a completed habilitation (or comparable qualification) in the field of sports medicine research or a related field is required. Clinical service are not expected and a Medical degree is not required.
You are an integrative personality with commitment in interdisciplinary cooperation. Good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure are required.
