Assistant Development Quality Management System 50 - 60 %

The Division Clinical Research Methods at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute is a strong collaboration partner for researchers at the Medical Faculty, University Hospital Zurich, Children's University Hospital, and other Partner Hospitals. Collaborations cover the design and analysis of clinical research projects across all disciplines, while adhering to highest standards regarding reproducibility and research quality. Additionally, there are strict regulatory requirements regarding design and analysis of clinical trials.

Your responsibilities

The successful candidate will build up a lean quality management (QM) system that addresses regulatory requirements in the design and analysis of randomized controlled trials. The key resposibilities include:
  • Identification of regulatory requirements in the context of design and analysis of clinical trials in an academ-ic setting
  • Preparation of standardized operating procedures (SOPs) in close collaboration with members of the Divi-sion Clinical Research Methods
  • Implementation the QM system in a suitable environment
  • Evaluation and validation of the QM system in ongoing and new research projects
  • Ensure smooth interaction with the Clinical Trial Center Zurich regarding information transfer in relevant aspects of the work
  • Collaboration with field experts from other Clinical Trial Units in Switzerland

Your profile

The successful candidate should have a strong interest in the quality and regulatory aspects of clinical research. Specifically, the candidate should have a
  • Training in quality and/or process management
  • Experience in the development and implementation of a QM system or demonstrable willingness to acquire these skills
  • Strong analytical skills, strong communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of English, good writing skills
  • Experience in clinical research is an asset
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of health science is an asset
