Administrative Assistant 60 - 70 %

The University of Zurich's European and Asian Business Management (EABM) offers one MAS, one DAS and two CAS programs as part of the executive education training of the University of Zurich. Students from across the globe come to Switzerland to take part in our study programs.

Your responsibilities

  • Administrative tasks support (incl. booking hotels, payments, reimbursements, classrooms...)
  • Communication with internal UZH stakeholders for back-office tasks
  • Support with the organization of evening events and seminars (high level events with Ambassadors, C-level stakeholders of companies...).
  • Working during evenings when an event takes place is required.
  • Close collaboration with the other administrative assistant and the teaching assistant
  • Ad hoc projects and tasks
  • Provide onsite class support by addressing issues and inquiries during lectures (classes typically take place on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays from September to March each year). Occasional Saturday work may be required, although our Teaching Assistant is primarily responsible for Saturday classes.
  • Flexibility to undertake a higher workload during fall/winter months and a lower workload during spring/summer months.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree is a must
  • Extensive experience as administrative assistant or equivalent, interest or engagement with Asian cultures is required
  • Fast learner, proactive, strong attention to details and motivated to work in a multicultural environment
  • Problem solving skills, flexibility and fast reaction to changes
  • Language: German native (is a must), excellent in English, Fluency in Asian language
  • Knowledge of UZH systems and organization is a plus
